About Alexis Verbin, LCSW, LICSW
Hello! I’m Alexis Verbin, LCSW, LICSW, founder of Wellcore Healing.
I provide online therapy for high-achieving women, leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals navigating anxiety, burnout, imposter syndrome, perfectionism, and self-doubt.
Providing Remote Therapy across MA, NY, CO, VT, & FL
I too am HUMAN…
My innate passion for supporting others comes from a deeply personal place. Having lost my mother and best friend at a young age, I intimately understand the weight of emotional, physical, and spiritual grief, depression, and anxiety. During my own therapeutic journey, I learned how to work through pain, heal on many levels, and move forward after losing the most significant person in my life.
Sharing this piece of myself is my way of saying I too am human. I have learned over the years how to find meaning in life’s challenges and grow from the inside out. I believe personal evolution is a continuous process necessary to enjoy life to the fullest, and I feel privileged and honored to help others reach their full potential as I join their journey of healing and transformation.
Wellcore Healing Mission & Values
MISSION
My mission is to provide thoughtful, evidence-based online therapy for high-achieving women who are navigating anxiety, burnout, imposter syndrome, perfectionism, and self-doubt.
Through practical, collaborative therapy, I help clients understand the patterns driving their stress, reconnect with themselves, and build a more grounded way of living, working, and leading
CORE VALUES
Empathy
A nonjudgmental space where your story, context, and lived experience matter.
Empowerment
Therapy that helps you reconnect with your voice, your choices, and your sense of agency.
Healing
Support that goes deeper than symptom management, so you can understand the patterns underneath the stress.
Safety
A secure, confidential virtual space where you can be honest without having to perform.
Mental Wellness
Care that recognizes the connection between emotional, mental, physical, relational, and spiritual well-being.
Leading by Example | A Mission for Women
I am dedicated to helping other female professionals feel empowered to face toxic societal messages head-on—the ones that reinforce that “women should put themselves second and sacrifice their own needs for the sake of others.”
As a professional female and a therapist, I believe in the importance of leading by example. I am committed to showing up for my own mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual self so I can continue to help you show up for yours.
“You can’t pour from an empty cup.” Get excited to prioritize YOU!
My Journey | A Global Perspective on Mental Health
Since 2007, I have had the honor of supporting thousands of unique individuals from all walks of life. My journey to becoming a mental health clinician started in Phoenix, Arizona, expanded in London, England, was solidified in Boston, Massachusetts, and has now grown roots in Denver, Colorado.
I have served as a Director of Clinical Services, Clinical Consultant, Supervisor, and Psychotherapist. These varied clinical settings, from holistic mental health nonprofits and integrated primary care to healthcare IT and community organizations, inform my holistic practice today. I combine this background with a trauma-informed, integrative approach to ensure you receive care that is both clinically rigorous and deeply personal.
My Therapy Focus
Support for High-Achieving Women and Professionals
I work with high-achieving women, leaders, entrepreneurs, business owners, and professionals in male-dominated and high-pressure fields, including tech, STEM, medicine, and law.
Most of my clients are highly capable and used to handling a lot. What brings them to therapy is the gap between how they function on the outside and how they feel on the inside. Anxiety that won't quiet down. Burnout that keeps coming back. Perfectionism and self-doubt that follow them into every room, every decision, every performance review.
Therapy is where we close that gap.
We work together to understand what's driving your patterns and build practical tools for managing the demands of your work and your life. That might mean getting a handle on anxiety or chronic stress, shifting the perfectionism and people-pleasing that's costing you, working through imposter syndrome, or learning to protect your time and energy without the guilt spiral that follows.
You don't have to be in crisis to benefit from this work. You just have to be tired of running on empty and ready to do something about it.
Support Wherever You Are
Online therapy means you get access to real support without rearranging your schedule or commuting anywhere. Whether you're in Boston, New York City, Denver, Burlington, Miami, or elsewhere in Massachusetts, New York, Colorado, Vermont, or Florida, you can do this work from wherever you are.
